Chiwaukum Mountains Panorama
Jim Hill Mountain is one of the big mountains in the Steven's Pass area, with a steep approach and beautiful views from the top. Despite the lame name which sounds like it should be in Kentucky, it's actually a really cool mountain. Here, I'm on the summit ridge, Travis Solberg took the photo.
Looking south, a view of the top half of the descent, the good half. We had knee deep powder in the bowl, not bad for the end of March. This is taken from the saddle you cross over from the western drainage on the approach.
