Herr Solberg Returns Again

The North Face of Teewinot

After a two hour bike ride uphill, against a stiff headwind and with heavy packs, with the granny gear getting full use, we made it to the base.  Here, Travis is heading towards Laurel Canyon.

Here's Trav trying to figure out how to make the seat more comfortable.
He tried putting his skins in his pants but that didn't help.

The ride back was far better than the ride there.
We made it back to the car in a half hour, cruising fast the entire way.

After an epic first day, we to take it down a notch the next day.  Easier approach, better skiing, unparalleled scenery: the Turkey Chute.
